Local attractions

From the dawn of time, to the age of steam – there is so much to see and do… Have a look at some highlights of what’s going on around us.

Muckleburgh Military Collection

Norfolk’s largest working museum of military vehicles includes tanks and armoured cars, as well as bombs, artillery and missiles used by the allied armies during World War II.

North Norfolk Railway

Weybourne Station is part of the North Norfolk Railway and has been restored to its original condition. Take a special trip on a steam train. Try and work out which television series the station has appeared in (spoiler alert, it features in Hi-De-Hi! and Dad’s Army).

Weybourne Beach

Weybourne Beach

Walk in the footsteps of the earliest humans; this is the start and end of the Deep History Coast trail. It is also a perfect spot for a readind and sunbathing.

Blakeney Point

It’s famous for its seals. If you do nothing else, join one of the seal boat trips from Morston Quay. It’s perfect for all the family – including dogs.

Sheringham Park

This National Trust park and garden has a thousand acres of woodland and parkland to explore.

Cromer

Enjoy the famous pier. This is the place to try crabbing – or a seaside stroll. It is cool and edgy; it even has surfing.
