The North Norfolk coast is calling…
Big skies, miles of coastline and country walks – North Norfolk has it all, and in Weybourne, it feels like we have even more. You’ll find a slower pace and sense of calm against a backdrop of cottage gardens, the smuggler’s favourite beach and clear sky nights. Stay longer, explore further and you will find plenty of hidden gems, from antique shops to nature reserves.
Let’s start with the sea
Weybourne isn’t just on the coast. It’s perched right on the edge of England’s eastern edge. Our nearby beaches are sandy and stony (there’s something for everyone). There are local seals and seabirds to spot. There is crabbing to try out. There are challenging – and not so challenging – coastal walks. And there is good old-fashioned bucket and spade fun to be had.

North Norfolk at its best
Inland, medieval villages mix with ancient woodlands and big open skies. Lose yourself in some of the local villages and small towns. Explore historic castles (Castle Acre) and stately homes (Blickling Estate, Felbrigg Hall and Holkham Hall). Walk around the Walsingham ruins and find out more about its religious pilgrimages. Come for the scenery and linger for a while…
