On the table

Our take on modern British cuisine is creative yet unpretentious. The best way to explore a menu is through sharing and we have created our menus with this in mind (because many small plates are better than one big plate).

Whatever brings you here, we want you to feel at home. We have 28 bedrooms, choose from bed and breakfast to seasonal offers and experience packages, there will be something to suit you and we’ll take care of the rest. So, all you have to do is settle in and make the most of your time away.

Picture an Italian village square, bistro tables, the clink of glasses, and the hum of conversation. That’s the scene in front of The Grain Store – a place to gather, graze, and let the world go by.

The Library

Sink into a sofa with the Sunday papers or get lost in a good book. In The Library, there’s always a book of the week waiting to be discovered – the perfect spot to unwind and escape for an hour or two.

Bolding’s Bar

At the heart of The Main House, you’ll find a space made for good company and great drinks. Settle in and share an afternoon bottle, start the evening with a pre-dinner cocktail, and of course, come back later for just one more.

The Games Room

Slip away to The Games Room, where time slows and the games begin. Challenge a friend to chess, try your luck at backgammon, or just settle in with a coffee or an afternoon pint. It’s a place to play, unwind, and escape for a while.

At The Maltings, dogs are always welcome – whether its for a nap by the fire, a spot beside you at dinner, or space in your bedroom for them to sleep. With plenty of space to explore and a warm greeting wherever they go, they’ll feel right at home.

The Female Fisherman’s Supper

Settle into The Grain Store for an evening with The Female Fisherman. Ashley will share tales from life at sea, offering a rare and honest look into the world of small-scale fishing and what it takes to get ‘catch to plate’. Supper will be a three-course celebration of our coastline with shellfish caught earlier in the day by Ashley.

This experience includes a Norfolk Rum cocktail on arrival, three-course supper with wine, and a signed copy of Ashley’s book, My Fishing Life.

Wish you were here?

It’s the best of North Norfolk. We are situated in the village of Weybourne, you can find us a stone’s throw from the sea. The nearest train station is Sheringham, an 8-minute taxi ride (3.2 mi) via A149. To drive from Holt takes eleven minutes (4.0 mi) via Kelling Rd and Holgate Hill.
